# Alp Safari – Glamping & Camping, Nax, Valais

> Panoramic campsite in the Swiss Alps, Valais, Switzerland. Luxury glamping safari tents, shady camping pitches, swimming pool, and restaurant at 1,100+ meters altitude, overlooking the Rhône valley and three medieval castles of Sion.

Alp Safari is located in Nax, canton of Valais, Switzerland (Le Zitiouc 5, 1973 Nax). The site spans nearly 30,000 m² of southwest-facing terraces. It was originally established 40 years ago as Camping Grand-Paradis and is now managed by Fran (British) and Steph (Valaisan), who took over in 2021 and undertook major renovations. The property includes 17 glamping safari tents and around 30 camping pitches for tents, vans, car-tents, caravans and camper-vans. Management actively rewilding the site with indigenous plants and trees.
